Was able to get my dog right in while I was travelling, thank you! Everyone was very friendly and clearly loves animals.

My little 16 year old Jack and I are so happy we discovered this lovely group of vets and staff. Wow. What a pleasant visit it was for us both. My little Jack was not feeling well and I took her to another vet in Wells. That owner was ABUSIVE and ripped off her muzzle and pushed her off the steel table onto the floor BECAUSE he said I was arguing with him!!!! I could not believe this. He accused me of arguing with him because I only wanted to help hold her as she was so frightened of him. When I told him that her regular vet in Portland never had to muzzle her but I would allow it if he would just let me hold her he said "if that dog bites you you will sue me" I told him I would never sue him and that my dog would never bite me. He said if I was going to argue with him then to get out! Yanked the muzzle off of her and pushed her off the steel table onto the cement floor which was a good 4 ft from the ground. She has arthritis and is 15 years plus. I left crying. His technician was yelling at me that he did not push her off, he just gave her a little shove! I am so upset. This vet is the owner and is long in the tooth. He is abusive. He hurt my baby and I will never forget this. That is why I ended up going to Post Road and they were so gentle and kind and decent. Did not have to muzzle her and she never snapped. She loved them and they loved her.

The best, friendliest, most caring staff for all of my family's animals! Thank you so much for keeping our babies happy and healthy ☺️! It is always a pleasure to visit. Would give more stars if it were possible.

Super friendly and caring staff. They really do treat your pet like family. If only they were closer to home I would continue my pets care there but they are too far away for me.

We recently moved from Massachusetts to Maine and had to find a new vet for our 9 yr old Border Collie. He is VERY anxious when he goes to the vet, so I asked a lot of local people for their recommendations. Post Road Vet was definitely the choice of the majority. We had our first visit last week, and it went great. Our appt. was easily scheduled in a short time frame, with instructions for getting records from previous vet. The staff was very caring and responsible (they quickly ushered us out of the waiting room when a toddler was getting too close to my kid-phobic dog). They explained tests and the vet herself called the next day with lab results. My dog was not as stressed as he used to be at the vet at home....and the dogs know best! A very pleasant experience!
