We enjoy going here in the evening after dinner and watching the tide come in.
Small parking lot offers free public parking with bench seating on the sea wall and concrete steps leading to the beach (except during high tide.) The shops are typical, kitchey tourist traps and include a take-out seafood place that serves up some of the greasiest fried everything you've ever regretted buying. But the beach is great and the views are awesome, and watching a spectacular sunrise over the Atlantic is a treat.
