Any good things this restaurant has going for it is ruined by the wait time and service you receive. Had to wait close to 30 minutes to put our order in for two people, and another 40 minutes to receive our food. It did not seem to be like a busy night, and the staff ignored the fact that we where waiting forever. If you have a very large amount of time you are trying to kill, this is probably the only function this place would serve.
The New England House never disappoints!! I am always amazed when I go and try something different that it exceeds all my expectations! I tried the fried clams and they are maybe the best I have ever had and I have been eating seafood locally for 50 years. I 'm excited to go back and try something else. Don't pass up a chance to go, try something new!
Had clam strips, very tender. My wife had lobster with homemade linguini. Lobster & linguini both sweet & tender
The food is ok but took a very long time. Asked for my dinner on my own check, they refused!!! I would have left a better tip but I left just 10% because of that. Won't go back again.
Food was very good, service was slow even though there wasn't a lot of diners.
